Draw What Home Means to You, Then Come Meet Us in Stockton!

Two ways to get involved: kids can enter our art contest by October 17, and everyone is welcome at our free Fair Housing Open House in Stockton.

We are kicking off our strong presence in the Central Valley on Saturday, November 14, 2026, where we will answer questions about your fair housing rights as a renter or housing provider.

Art contest for kids

What does home mean to you?

Home means something different to everyone. Ask your child to draw what home means to them, and we will share it with the community. Crayons, markers, or colored pencils all work. Every entry gets a thank-you, and winners get prizes.

How to enter in three steps:

1

Draw it

Use crayons, markers, or colored pencils on one sheet of paper.

2

Label it

Write your name, age, and grade on the back of the artwork.

3

Send it

Scan, mail, or drop it off, along with a signed entry form.

Three ways to send us your artwork by October 17th:

Upload it online. Snap a photo of the art and send it through the QR code on the flyer, or email it to fairhousing@housing.org.

Mail it. Mail the artwork and entry form to our office at:

Project Sentinel

Attention: Fair Housing Art Contest

Drop it off. Bring it to a participating location. Troke Library, Weston Ranch Library and Fair Oaks Library.
