This Fair Housing Symposium is being held in honor of the 40th anniversary of death of Martin Luther King Jr. and the near simultaneous passage of The Fair Housing Act of 1968. The Symposium is also held in April in recognition of National Fair Housing Month. Last year, over 180 community residents, agency representatives, housing providers, and fair housing advocates attended the Symposium, which was the second held by Project Sentinel. Project Sentinel is one of the largest fair housing agencies in the nation, investigating over 600 complaints of housing discrimination each year in 5 counties throughout Northern California . Please join us for what is sure to be an inspiring and educational event.
