Project Sentinel - Mountain View Mediation Program

This program offers free, neutral, and confidential counseling and information and referral for tenants, property managers, and owners of rental housing in The City of Mountain View. The service covers all rental housing questions, including:

security deposits
repairs
evictions
entry
retaliation

Dispute Resolution for All Issues in the Community

The mediation program also offers a full range of dispute resolution options to persons who reside in, or own property in, or work in the City of Mountain View. Available options include telephone conciliation and formal mediation.

Typical disputes handled successfully by the program include those affecting:

tenants and landlords
neighbors
consumers
workplaces

All services are free, confidential, and neutral. Mediations are conducted by volunteer mediators who are members of the local community. Parties who participate in formal mediation reach an agreement to resolve their dispute in approximately 75% of cases.
